Holiday Big Band Jacksonville Concert reviews
LOUD
The show was awesome. I didn't memorize it, but the set list was awesome, we got a good mix from Brothers and El Camino and other older songs. The lights show and the visual display behind the band was awesome. I'd buy it on DVD if I got the chance. It would be cool if they involved the fans a little more, like having them sing back to them and stuff, but maybe that's just Dan's style. I don't think I'd see one at the Maverick center again, the only downsides were with the venue, not the band. If you are not from Utah and you want to have a beer before the show, its like drinking Odouls. I think the sound system was kinda crappy. My boyfriend and I were partially deaf for like 2 days after the show, so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, take some earplugs. And also there was a mosh pit of adolecent boys (no age limit to get in) and I'm kinda thinking, who moshes to Holiday Big Band?
